This policy describes how ALINE Inc. ("ALINE," "we") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website, apps, and services. We've tried to write it in plain English. The short version: we collect the minimum we need to align you with the right people, and we never sell your data.
1 · What we collect
We collect information you give us directly (email, city, optional role and intent), information that's automatically generated when you use the service (device identifiers, app interactions), and — only with your permission — coarse location data used for proximity matching.

We generate
- Account identifiers, session data, basic device information
- Anonymous referral codes for the waitlist program
2 · How we use it
To run the service, to align you with people who match your stated intent, to communicate updates, and to keep the platform safe. We do not use your data to train third-party advertising models.
3 · Location and proximity
The product is built on real-world proximity. We collect coarse location only when you have it enabled and only when the app is in use. You can revoke this access at any time from your device settings; the rest of the product continues to work.
4 · Sharing
We share information with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, email, analytics) under strict contracts. We disclose information when legally required. We do not sell your personal information.
5 · Your rights
You can access, correct, export, and delete your data at any time. Email privacy@aline.network and we'll respond within 30 days. Residents of certain jurisdictions have additional rights under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws.
