How does the waitlist work?
Join with your email and city. You'll get a position in line and a unique referral link. We open access city by city as density crosses a threshold that makes alignment useful — usually around a thousand active people in a metro.
How does referral ranking work?
Each person who joins from your referral link moves you up ten spots. Referrals are tracked automatically — you don't need to do anything beyond sharing your link. The leaderboard on the waitlist page shows top referrers in your city.
When will my city launch?
ALINE rolls out city by city. We open access in a metro once enough people have signed up to make alignment useful — usually around a thousand active users in a region. The waitlist signups themselves are how we decide where to launch first, so the best thing you can do is join and refer people in your city.
Is my location private?
Yes. ALINE only uses coarse proximity (city block-level), only when the app is open, and only with your permission. Other users never see your precise location — only that you are nearby and your stated intent. Read more in our privacy policy.
How do I leave the waitlist?
Email hello@aline.network with the subject "Remove me" from the address you signed up with. We'll delete your record within 24 hours.
